If you have been following our blog (and lets face it, you would have to be crazy not to!) you will know that there has been some contension about the name of our upcoming show on Monster FM as part of the RadioSkills RSL.

Now, naturally I think the DAVE & Joey show simply rolls off the tongue - it sounds.... just right I think.

but of course my co-host and partner in crime believes the JOEY & Dave show sounds better (NAH!)

So people out there in the ether, can you help us decide?

BUT (We hear you cry) thats a boring name for a show isn't it? Just your names?

Well fear not intrepid listner pal, buddy and indeed friend.......

We have some suggestions to spice up your Sunday mornings in September

Should we become:
                                1 - False Start with ..........
                                2 - Falling With Style with........
                                3 - Underprepared and Overcompensated with.....
                                4 - Radio LaLa with ........
                                5 - Or just the Dave & Joey Show (or vice versa)

Hello peeps!
I have had a pretty mental couple of weeks so I have been very naughty and have not managed to blog for a wee while.

Things are mental and busy and weird because lots of people are taking their summer break at the minute. We are still working hard on our tasks including the team magazine aswell as preparing ideas, working on
feature-ettes and practicing in the new studio for Monster FM. Of course there is always the daily desk editor tasks that have to be done too - best thing is now that they are just easier and easier to do. 

Today we had a really fun day.  James, Gemma aka Murray the Moose headed through to Buckie Library to meet lots of lovely keen readers for MFR Cash for Kids.  We sang songs, read stories, did colouring in and gave out goodie bags. All the kids were so well behaved and SO cute too - they were even there to welcome us at the door - so sweet.

Tommorow I am going into the studio to record my first 1 hour show.  I am really excited about doing it - which is progress as I am normally just nervous. A friend of mine was listening to me doing the Showbiz News yesterday and she text to say that she could hear the 'smile' in my voice!!! Ginno always tells us to have fun and Diane always reminds us to smile - so I was very happy indeedly-doodly!

Hey folks, Last week I was out at Culloden Battlefield for an outside broadcast and I made a new friend, his name's Charlie but he doesn't say much!
 
Apart from that it's another hectic day up at MFR and we're all busily preparing our shows for Monster FM, it's a very exciting time & I for one CANT wait. My show is Rock music and I've already got a band lined up, they happen to be one of my favourites out of the bands that gig in Inverness so I'm very excited about having them in. We got some of the promo stuff in which made it seem all the more real, suddenly September doesn't seem so far away!!

It's very quiet at the Radioskills desk today, normally there's at least 6 of us girls and Davey once said it was better than Loose Women (Cant think what he meant by that! LOL) but today there was 3 of us in but now it's down to just me and Gemma, both sounding slightly mad talking to our computers (in my case, it's just not doing what i want it to, grrr) but apparently that makes you normal here so it's all good! It's my turn at presenting the Team Magazine Show tomorrow and i cant wait, it's such good fun and brilliant practice for when we get our own shows on Monster FM. 

Well i best be heading off for a run through so I'll catch up with y'all soon, whoever you are, where ever you are, have a fantastic day - Amy
