Hello.....hi.....anyone there? This was my reaction as I entered the radioskills office this morning. After a look at the calender I soon realized that some of the other trainees are on holiday or out doing interviews so it was down to me and fellow trainee Matt do get things done and on that note i better get a move on. So much to do, so little time to do it.

Your average day...that was until 2pm when I turned into Captain Jack Sparrow, I then headed down to Tomnahurich Bridge to set sail on my Jacobite Cruise something which I have only done once before. I think people seem to forget about things that are on their own doorstep. The reason for this voyage was to get interviews for a feature for monster fm and to see what the public think of Loch Ness and what its like to cruise it on a boat. arrrrg mee heartiesss!

Afternoon all,

Have had to resort to typing this in the library as my laptop's been very silly and not let me do it at home...
Soooooooo.....this week I have been tasked with the VQ Introduction blog!! Oh and to see what else I have been doing, read on...

We had the intro yesterday, (Mark and Sheryl had the first domestic of the evening group, although I'm sure they would just say it was a professional debate ) got told all about it and what's expected of us etc. It sounds a lot,and it probably is, but if we put our heads down and just get on with it then I have every faith we will achieve our VQ by December 31st (that's the latest submission date for EVERYTHING). This goes for both teams by the way, daytime AND evening!! Come on guys and girls,we can do this!! We have very competent and supportive Trainers behind us all the way, so this is giving us the extra little push we need (so thanks Ray,Ginno and James ). Although the computerised online system to submit work could prove to be slightly more challenging haha.....
I have to have 5 pitch Ideas submitted for next week, I have 4 and now got my ever-expanding thinking cap on to get a fifth - this whole idea malarky is hard lol!! Got at least two I know I can definetly use.... The schedule was made up this week, the daytime lot get to blabber loads during the day and then for the last hour us evening lot get a wee shot, heaven help when we do our group show haha!! Oh,and my whole family are insisting I tell them when I'm going to be on air....embarrassing muchly??
Anyhoo peeps I have blabbered on enough for this week, so shall leave you all in peace. Till next time amigos...

Bev xxxx

PS: The Monster FM Facebook page goes live very very soon!! Look out for spammage on your pages if you're fortunate enough to be on any of the Trainee's pages!! Mwah! x

The pressure's piling on! Monster FM is fast approaching and we need to make at least 3 features a week if they're to get done on time!
It's gonna kill me! (Perhaps...?)
Now I do get a little respite next week, as I'm taking it off, but I'll still be keeping track of what's going on at Radioskills, I need to keep myself prepared.
However, not all is going well. People don't seem to want to talk to me that much, but I'm continuously pushing them and locating new avenues to search down for interviews etc, I'm not done yet!
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go write the Community Action script and then write some scripts for one of my features about Loch Ness.

Toodle!

Love a sleepy Amber! ¬_¬

Evening all,

Blogging from home again, and still working away on all my stuff for Monster FM. I'm hoping to get in the studio again not only on Monday but also in a few weeks time to get (more) links recorded. Another day closer....eek!! Seen the group photos and also my own individual shots a few days ago - and I have to say they're pretty damn good. Except most of my individual ones haha. One of the evening trainees group shots shall be appearing in a certain free local publication very soon - bring it on!! (It's ok, Ive seen it and I look ok haha).Anyway my lovelies, heaps of stuff to do for the almost-upon-us Monster FM, so till next time be good lol,
