Very Exciting its Monster FM 87.7 tomorrow morning, aaah nervous! We go live with Matt at 9am then I'm live form 11am - 1pm, Lifestyle with Laura. Got some awesome tunes, and I'll be testing your knowledge of Inverness with a couple of hints to an event that happened near here some time ago, can you guess the event? A little pop local history quiz and of course we'll chat about soo many things, can't wait!!

Michael's just bought £1.40 worth of Malteasers. He loves 'em.

I'm about 35 minutes away from another "as-live" show. Got three new Odd Songs Out to try out, so we'll see if yesterday's success with the feature will continue. Just a quick blog today really.

Afternoon,

I've literally just come out of the studio as part of the "as-live" week here. Overall, I think the two hours went fairly well. I reckon I've got my "Odd Song Out" feature working well in the hour.

My second hour tends to get a little hectic, so this is something I'm going to keep an eye on. My links tend to start strong, but kind of fade towards the end into songs. Another aspect to keep working on!

Just two more days until we go completely live. I'm looking forward to getting it going FINALLY. The build-up has been six months in the making.

Afternoon,

Can't believe I've managed twenty of these blogs already...

Well, Monster's almost here, as we've just begun our "as live" week. It's a good chance to hammer out any problems ahead of actually having listeners. It's been a learning curve already. I hadn't actually done two hours back-to-back before yesterday! Add in promotional schedules, testimonials, plus hand overs, and the show-clock fills up pretty sharpish!

Got my first taste of getting-up early to produce Matt's show, yesterday. It takes me ages to wake-up fully so my alarm-clock is set at a pretty bad hour! I can only get more used to it (I hope).

The office is definitely a lot more busy, even from Monday. Just want to get going now, as I've said in blog form before.

A WEEK TODAY!

Yes that's right! A week today Monster FM will have gone Live and I (Matt Atherton) will have done my first ever live broadcast! I completed my show this morning and treated it 'as live'. Personally I think it went well, probably because I knew it wasn't actually live! I still had nerves leading up to 9am but as they say; nerves are good! Over coming my nerves I finished my two hour long show and handed over to Laura who is currently in the Monster Studio completing her show! (She seemed a lot calmer than me if I'm honest!)

So then, last minute prep is being completed until the final launch of Monster! Help spread the word and get involved. I get the feeling September will be a great month!!!
