September 2010

See what the Radioskills trainees are up to now!

September 2010
We have been involved with Inverness Hospital Radio for 25 years but this was one of our most nerve wracking experiences ever behind a microphone.

Having said that we really enjoyed the whole experience and just want to do the whole thing again!

The guys behind the scenes deserve a huge pat on the back for keeping us calm fueld with cafinee free coffe and on the track, their professionalism and knowledge was invaluable.

it was a great experience being involved and spreading the word about Hospital Radio in this our 40th year in Inverness.

Editing clips together is more difficult when your munching down cake! nom nom nom!

Here we are halfway through already!

It was so nerve wracking in the run up to September and there was so much to do - now I am having so much fun I don't want it to be over. I think that feeling is running through the whole team.

Martin, Andrew and I have the morning show between 11am and 1pm - and we have so much fun. Our guests so far have been great and we have covered quite a wide range of topics. The best bit though is Challenge Andrew - I say poor Andrew but actually he is really enjoying it too.

The Celtic show is also great fun and I have spoken to some of my favourite groups as well as being able to play lots of great music.
Hope everyone out there is enjoying it as much as we are.

Well we are exactly half way through our broadcast period. Monster FM will finish on September 28th and I'm already gutted.

Last week I was the main presenter between 11am and 1pm. I really enjoyed it, interviewing all sorts of people from a Cheerleader, to a man who built a tiny submarine to to spot a monster.
They nearly had to cut me off from the desk on Friday, but I eventually agreed to give it up and let Jennie have her turn in the driving seat.

I've still got my covers show between 11 and 1 on Sundays though, so tune in for that. :-)

How you doing folks long time no speak, been a while since my last blog.

Well Monster FM is going well don't want it to finish I will be sad lol.

Enjoying my mid week show with Martin and Jennie but the highlight of the whole thing would have to be my interview with Paul Van Dyk on my weekend show the Monster FM Essential Mix.

Well its time I got home for a good kip speak soon.
